There, ...The French language coordinator of Localization Lab asked us to make the app store descriptions localizable as well.
In Transportr, I just added them to the `strings.xml`, so they can be translated as part of the other strings.
There, I use [fastlane](https://docs.fastlane.tools/) to upload all descriptions with one command after extracting them from the `strings.xml` file [with a script](https://github.com/grote/Transportr/blob/master/fastlane/generate_metadata.py).
Using fastlane has the advantage that the localized descriptions will be picked up by F-Droid automatically as well. Also, it supports taking automated localized screenshots and uploading those as well.Torsten GroteTorsten Grotehttps://code.briarproject.org/briar/briar/-/issues/1414Work with Briar users to set up OONI tests in censored locations2020-11-15T20:03:14ZTorsten GroteWork with Briar users to set up OONI tests in censored locationsThis is so we can find out where bridges are needed, so we can enable them automatically. This is so we can find out where bridges are needed, so we can enable them automatically.https://code.briarproject.org/briar/briar/-/issues/1415Develop scripts to use the OONI API to find locations where pluggable transpo...2020-11-15T20:02:27ZTorsten GroteDevelop scripts to use the OONI API to find locations where pluggable transports are neededhttps://code.briarproject.org/briar/briar/-/issues/1431Try not to show languages with unsupported scripts2020-11-15T19:55:56ZakwizgranTry not to show languages with unsupported scriptsThe language selector should try to exclude languages with scripts that aren't supported by the device.

We still want to offer languages that aren't supported by the device, as long as the script is supported (e.g. Occitan, Asturian).
One possibility would be to have a list of exceptions, containing languages with scripts that are likely to be supported on all devices. Only languages that are supported by the device or included in the list of exceptions should be shown in the language selector.https://code.briarproject.org/briar/briar/-/issues/1470Message Timestamps not localized for all languages2021-02-09T14:05:03ZJulian DehmMessage Timestamps not localized for all languagesWe are currently using `DateUtils` to create the timestamp strings for messages/posts/statuses. This seems to be prevented at the moment because we (always?) clear the adapter when the activity stops, and the language can't be changed without stopping the activity. The issue might become live in the future if we change our adapters, so this ticket exists to remind us to check for the issue if we do that.https://code.briarproject.org/briar/briar/-/issues/1764Change app language does not work2021-02-18T10:28:52ZN6P4CFB1BSRSLChange app language does not work**Version**

That's a regression from the expiration banner MR since I used the message format to also have a special version for "today" (daysLeft = zero). I didn't know it was not possible to use this form in English. I guess the fix would be to manually check for today (tomorrow?) in the code and have two different strings then?Desktop 0.1.0NicoNicohttps://code.briarproject.org/briar/briar-desktop/-/issues/244Re-enable automatic resource updates on Transifex2022-02-23T07:20:41ZNicoRe-enable automatic resource updates on TransifexTo give our translators some time to completely translate the current release's texts, I pushed a last update with `tx push -s` and disabled automatic resource updates for the time being.
