Hello,
have installed the Briar app and go to Settings -> Language & region and select a different language than the Android system language.
After restarting the Briar app the app language was not changed. In Transportr, I just added them to the `strings.xml`, so they can be translated as part of the other strings.
There, I use [fastlane](https://docs.fastlane.tools/) to upload all descriptions with one command after extracting them from the `strings.xml` file [with a script](https://github.com/grote/Transportr/blob/master/fastlane/generate_metadata.py).
Using fastlane has the advantage that the localized descriptions will be picked up by F-Droid automatically as well. Also, it supports taking automated localized screenshots and uploading those as well.Torsten GroteTorsten Grotehttps://code.briarproject.org/briar/briar/-/issues/1783Switching "language & region" to English does not switch the settings language2021-05-05T16:17:22ZRobert PollakSwitching "language & region" to English does not switch the settings languageI am using version 1.2.7 from F-Droid.

That's a regression from the expiration banner MR since I used the message format to also have a special version for "today" (daysLeft = zero). I didn't know it was not possible to use this form in English. I guess the fix would be to manually check for today (tomorrow?) in the code and have two different strings then?Desktop 0.1.0NicoNicohttps://code.briarproject.org/briar/briar-desktop/-/issues/281Plan 0.1.1 release with Localization Lab2022-02-04T14:58:26ZNicoPlan 0.1.1 release with Localization LabIf we do [0.1.1](https://code.briarproject.org/groups/briar/-/milestones/28) on Feb 22th, we may not push any new strings after Feb 15th. I noticed that `uppercase()` is being used without the `locale` argument here, which I think I got from the other invocations of it, we should probably use. Another a good reason to use a custom Composable for our dialog buttons to get that applied consistently.Desktop 0.2.0NicoNicohttps://code.briarproject.org/briar/briar-desktop/-/issues/244Re-enable automatic resource updates on Transifex2022-02-23T07:20:41ZNicoRe-enable automatic resource updates on TransifexTo give our translators some time to completely translate the current release's texts, I pushed a last update with `tx push -s` and disabled automatic resource updates for the time being.
